MITHI: (21ST Septemeber, 2020) Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Muhammad Nawaz Sohoo has said that the distribution work of relief work is continuing on daily basis among the rain-affected peoples from the relief centers already established by the District Administration Tharparkar.
He further said the District Administration Tharparkar has established three relief centers near Naukot fort, Shakoorabad, and Kaloi, from where the relief items are being distributed among the rain-affected peoples, besides that the survey work also continues of affected families to estimate the damages and revenue staff also give the token among the rain-affected families after this affected families are eligible to get the ration bags from the relief centers. He added.
Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Muhammad Nawaz Sohoo, further said that from 24 August to 19 September 2020, 5466 tents, 14216 Ration Bags, 340 Kitchen Kits, 8308 Mosquito Nets, 200 Water Cooler, 175 Jaricane, 8 Dewatering Pumps, 100 Atta Bags of 10 kg, and 78 Ghee distributed among the rain-affected people of the affected areas of District Tharparkar and distribution work is still continuing. He added.
While some social organizations who are working in Tharparkar District also distributing the ration bags among rain-affected peoples.
