UMERKOT. A new system of monsoon rain has entered in Sindh, it lashed Umerkot district on its first day, adding miseries to flood-affected persons sitting under the open sky.

Flood-affected people who were displaced by recent rains, sitting under the open sky without food, water, and tents for two weeks on the roads and banks of canals in Umerkot, Samaro, Kunri, Pithoro have been put in trouble by today’s rain.

They invited the Sindh government if they have completed their complaints to the federal government up to their heart. Then they need ownership, services, and relief, not their visits, and verbal grief.

The death of 11 Pakistani migrated Hindus in India compelled other migrants to return homeland to save their lives, in this connection five of a family have arrived at Umerkot.

Kanhia Bheel a taxi driver resident of Qamar ud Din colony Umerkot had migrated to India in March 2020 along with his three kids and a wife identified as Sapna, Kanhia lal, Motan, Manoj Kumar, Phul Chand, and Om Parkash. He stayed there at Jodhpur India.


As he arrived at Umerkot Assistant Commissioner Jhaman Das Soni along his relatives received and warmly welcomed them. He told reporters that some time back 11 migrants of a Bheel community hailing from Sindh province of Pakistan were found dead in a mysterious condition at Jodhpur in their home. Later their relative lady in Sindh Shirimati Mukhi had accused RAW of killing them. When they had refused to espionage against Pakistan.

This created fear among all the migrants. Therefore he decided not to stay in India but return home. He attempted in this regard but at Attari they were refused departure. Therefore they had to walk on foot from Attari to Rajasthan. He complained that Pakistani migrants have not been treated well there. They are kept in thatched houses like livestock without any facility.

Assistant Commissioner assured the returned family to provide them ration for a year along with other facilities.
