KARACHI: The 9th of Muharram is being observed throughout the country on Saturday with due solemnity and sanctity to pay homage to the sacrifice rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain (Razi Allah-ho Tala Anho) and his companions in Karbala.
Taazia and Zuljinah processions taken out in different parts of the country in memory of martyrs of Karbala are heading towards their respective destinations.
Ulema and Zakireen are shedding light on the bright and candid teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his great companions at the end of processions.
In Islamabad, the main procession of Taazia and Zuljinah took out from Markazi Imambargah G-6/2 is heading on its route and will terminate at the same place.
KARACHI
In Karachi, processions of 9th Muharram-ul-Haram were taken out from various parts of the city while the main procession was taken out from Nishtar Park Karachi this afternoon is passing through its traditional route and will conclude at Imambargah-e-Iranian Hussaini at Maghrib time.
LAHORE
In Lahore, the main procession of 9th Muharram-ul-Haram was taken out from Pando Street, Islampura which after passing through different areas including Khaima-e-Saadat will finish at the starting point in the evening.
HYDERABAD
In Hyderabad, the central procession started from Qadam Gah Moula Ali (Razi Allah Tala Anho) and will be culminated at Karbala Dadan Shah in the evening.
PESHAWAR
In Peshawar, the main procession taken out this morning from Imambargah Hussainia Hall, Saddar Road is heading on its traditional routes in the city.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident during the mourning processions.
