KARACHI: Sindh Information and Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Education and Labor Minister Saeed Ghani, and Food Minister Hari Ram Kishori have said that some federal ministers have said things that are not based on reality.

“I claim today that I should be told 20 of the thousands of areas in Karachi that have been submerged,” he said. He asked why no one was talking about handing over those who created the sugar crisis, those who supported the flour hoarders, and those who buried the economy of this country. “I challenge you to say that the Sindh government has performed better than the federal and all provincial governments in the last two years and is doing better,” Ghani said.
To another question, he said that the real work of cleaning the drains is neither of the federal government nor of the Sindh government. This work belongs to the KMC and DMCs and the Sindh government has always lacked funds from the KMC. But not only did we support them but we have started the work of cleaning the drains in a systematic manner and so far we have not received a single dollar from the World Bank but this work has been done by the Chief Minister of Sindh.
